In 2008, raven, our border collie/lab, suffered an acute illness, requiring 10 days of around the clock emergency care . Her recovery and new dietary needs prompted us to develop ‘raven’s gingerbread’, made with all natural ingredients and rye flour; which is low in gluten content. The treat proved safe and easy for raven to digest, bear loved them, it was a hit! Before we knew it, beardog cafe had created itself.
where we’re going
beardog cafe surprises us everyday: it leads us, we don’t lead it. Everything we do is based on the philosophy of the healthy, happy, wagging tail. Bear and raven are our leaders, their ideas are endless. We can’t tell you what they have in the works, we are sworn to secrecy! But stay tuned, there will always be something new at beardog cafe.
